Who.is Check Question

Hey guys,

was just looking into some who.is on a site i wanted to buy, but came accross this:

Status:CLIENT DELETE PROHIBITED
Status:CLIENT HOLD
Status:CLIENT RENEW PROHIBITED
Status:CLIENT TRANSFER PROHIBITED
Status:CLIENT UPDATE PROHIBITED

Any ideas what that means? It did have a TM term in the domain...?

It's probably just locked. Registrar-Lock - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Basically they just have to unlock it before they can transfer to you, run any other domain and as long as it's locked you'll probably get the same, wickedfire.com for example. Though I'm not quite sure what the HOLD part is about. Actually just googled (great idea ) and it might in fact be a legal issue, so yeah.

I agree with you Victoria. The domain is locked and the operation cannot be done without lifting that lock from the domain.
