I have been promoting a merchant for awhile and now he wants to cut the middle man.

Problem is, this merchant is a retail type merchant that sells actual products.

How do I go about setting up a white labeling site for a retail merchant and what are the things I have to watch out for?

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

If you're talking about an actual white label and you even have to ask this question, having a white label probably isn't for you.

You'd have to have the infrastructure to handle and track every sale, keep current on merchant inventories, etc. It can be a pain.

If you're talking about just cutting out the network and passing the merchant a customer, letting them handle the transaction, that's easy. Just make sure you have a solid / reliable way (pixel) to verify sales.

Thanks Aim -

In this case, I have the choice to do either one and I am leaning more towards the actual white label because that way I can build up my own site and build long term relationship with the buyer/customer.

The merchant will supply the programmer and code the site and I understand tracking the sales, inventory and etc can be a pain, but I think it might be worth the headache.

I am just not too familiar with the whole process and wondering what type of problem I will actual run into.
stuff like.

What if a customer wants to cancel an order
What if there is a credit card fraud

Hopefully those with retail white label experience guys can chip in and point me to the right direction.
