I'm about to change my phone and since i'm now an affiliate marketer, i really think a smartphone is the way to go. Can do lots of things with it and will probably be quite useful for checking stats, turning on or pausing campaigns/ads anytime anywhere...things like that!

So my question for you guys is regarding which smartphone do you have? Telling it's useful or not for your business would be good too!

THe Iphone will probably be a popular answer...But i doubt going with it since it doesn't support flash(I do some PoF, it requires flash) & seems more like an entertainment phone.

Tks!

I just bought myself an HTC Legend running Android and it's amazing. I wouldn't trade it for an iPhone.

There's also Windows Phone 7 out now and I would say that's worth taking a look at.

Don't overpay for iphone, get some nice android, for instance htc or sony ericsson.

Yeah htc & android is where i'm leaning...Do you use it for business purpose too, things like i've mentionned?

When you think of it most phones will do what you need.

My HTC is running a great internet browser (Dolphin) with tabbed browsing, and the network is lightning fast even with low bars.

I've played around with my cpa and website control panels quite a bit on it and to top it off it does flash.

I would probably suggest the HTC Desire over the Legend as it has a full keyboard and a faster processor.

In the end smart phones are handy but they don't even come close to replacing a netbook and you probably won't find yourself very productive on one.

Blackberry is good, at least for what I do. You can sort your email inboxes for each email address, or combine all into one. Battery life is pretty good, but drops quickly when you're using Skype or Aim.

If you do lots of international business having BBM (Blackberry Messenger) is a HUGE advantage. It's super quick and free.

The internet on it is pretty shitty at times when I'm trying to load certain back-end pages with graphs and stat reports.

If you walk around Affiliate Summit or Ad:Tech you'll see 80% iPhones, easy. It caught me by surprise but that seems to be what a majority of people are using.

Just switched from a BlackBerry Bold 9000 to Droid Pro (the new Verizon world phone with physical blackberry style keyboard). Love it - big improvement over the BB and the keyboard is almost as good as a RIM keyboard (not quite, but still very good and perfectly usable).

Piece of shit flip phone that comes with my biyear renewal.

Getting a smartphone is tempting, but it would probably have an inverse effect on my productivity. I also am pretty spontaneous with my life right now and like how forgivable my pos phone is. Charge it once per week.

Plus it has PacMan and Space Invaders preloaded, bitches!

I have bb torch + iphone. For checking stats.. can't really go past the ease of use iphone. If you rely on emails get the BB. ( my bb is for the biz, and the iphone is my personal phone)

If you just want to browse sites, check stats, use AIM etc.. go the iphone

I only have a smartphone because it's all I could get. I don't want email, AIM, Internet and all other annoying shit to be accessible on my phone. Ideally, I don't even want texts. Just phone calls please.

I've never really understood people's desire to be so immersed in what they do they need to be available from every angle even when away from the computer. I'm sure there are other reasons for it, but I know not what they are.
