You can buy a lot of this overlay stuff on VideoHive - check out something like After Effects Project Files - GEAR Intro | VideoHive

Not exactly what you want, but browse around on there and you'll find similar overlay, etc. items that won't break the bank.
 
Cheers fellas. After effects looks bad ass for video, and the overay tip is definitely the way forward. I know it's all style improvements anyways, but takes a video a long way. Thanks.
 
AE is the nuts for this sort of stuff. I have some of those^^^ overlays (quite a few) and I can honestly say they are fantastic quality. They really do add a pro touch to any video presentation and save so much time it's untrue.
 
Thank you for the info! I figured after affects but then again it would be hard to get close to that quality if not using it in my opinion.
