I use a Marriott Visa, have close to a million points so anytime I want to stay at a Marriott I can use points.

I also have a Virgin Visa, and use that a little to get points towards flights.

I hate Amex, those fuckers kicked me cause I spent too much money and wouldn't send them 2 years tax returns. Even though I paid the balance twice a month.

Amex Business Gold -- I believe it's 3% back for advertising with any major traffic source (and if they aren't familiar with a traffic source, the people at AMEX are incredibly helpful, and will make the appropriate changes).

Looks like it's 2x points on advertising, whatever a point seems to be these days. Amex Plum is great for the 1.5% cash back. Capital One Spark Visa is 2% cash back.

amex biz gold.... stinks that continental is no longer a participating airline though.. delta tickets cost 2x more points than the continental flights :(

Oops, yeah it's 2% for advertising, and 3% for airfare. Makes sense to use for me since I travel quite a bit for business, and it's nice to get more than 1% back for ad purchases.

amex gold rewards gives you 2x the amount of points for advertising, but it costs about $125 per year.

20,000 points = roughly about $100

so if your spending massive budgets to offset the cost of the card and more on top of that, it's worth it. if not, then go with amex blue credit card. the blue credit card has no annual fee, and it still gets you membership rewards points. just pay your bill on time to avoid extra costs.

It sounds like those points are worth less than the Starwood American Express points.

9,500 Starwood Starpoints = $100 gift card.

My round trip flight from Minneapolis to Vegas for ASW was 25,000 Starpoints.

They are usually worth even more when redeemed for hotel stays.
