Hey guys,

I want to get started with PPC advertising and I'm on a small budget. I have been reading a lot of the threads here about the topic (Mike's n00b warning guide and others)

Is Jons "No more bullshit" guide still relevant now, seeing that it was written in like 2007 or 2008? I think it's in the treasure trove. If it is still relevant today then I will give that a go. Obviously I don't just wanna go and blow all my money, so any advice would be much appreciated. Should I start with FB ads? POF? Adwords?

I'm a member of Peerfly and CPAlead and have contacted MaxBounty.

Cheers,
John

Ok, what is the best starting platform for noobs? I am thinking maybe POF after doing more research? Any tips or advice would be appreciated. No flaming please - not asking for hand holding just advice! Cheers...

If you're trying to do PPC on a small budget, good luck, often times you need to spend low x,xxx just to get enough data to start optimizing your campaigns.

Honestly, here is what I would do if I were you, find a niche and start building a list with free traffic...

You'll need a nice landing page / auto responder in place, I'd say a 5 day auto responder sequence...

You do this correctly, you'll have yourself a nice little income to start building up a larger PPC budget...

Trying to give someone advice with a low PPC budget is honestly like trying to give you advice on how to gamble with your money...

Maybe you'll get lucky and hit a homerun right out of the gate, it's also very easy to wind up with losing your ass in a few days with PPC.

In order to have a competitive advantage with PPC, you need to think differently than everyone else, you don't want to be fighting with other people for the same traffic...

Read this article, it's a good read on how to think differently with your PPC spend, if you can get cheap traffic to work, you're golden IMO

Your best bet would be to try selling something in a small sub-niche to start off with because you wont have the budget to compete with the big boys.

A great idea id recommend is selling private proxies with 24/7 support to give yourself a competitive edge.

Define "small", please.
