Where to get new biz lists?

I have some ideas for products for local businesses. Need some lists of newly registered businesses. Any ideas on where to get these? Is there anybody selling lists like that? I need specifically for Canada only.

I would start by checking with the gov agency that businesses are registered with. Not sure about Canada but in the States its usually public information.

Try Business Development Canada.

InfoUSA.com sells US and Canadian business lists and I've never had any issues with them in the past. Just tell them what you need (age of business, revenue, # of employees, industry, etc.) and they can generally pull it for you.

The only thing to remember is that you never take their offering price. Pretty much all mailing list companies will come WAY down if you make them.
