Hi, currently I’ve been researching making money thru the CPA networks. I’ve tried promoting a few offers as well.

Rather than spend hours upon hours picking up little tidbits of online advice, I wanted to see if marketing experts on this forum can suggest places I should go to increase my knowledge. Example: as in web sites, blogs, courses, ebooks, or even membership sites online masterminds etc.

I went to adtech last year, but, I think that event is best for people that are looking to network. Nothing against networking, but, I’m looking for info I can absorb 7 days a week. And, flying is not an option for me these days.

Long term, I plan on being an advertiser in this industry. I really feel from what I have learned so far, that it’s important to know this game from both the publisher & advertiser perspectives.

I just joined Carl*los & Lu*pe's program & it seems good. I’ve been in it for only 2 weeks.

Can I get some suggestions / directions on how I can fast track learning this industry while I test the waters promoting a few offers at the same time?

All replies are welcome. (unless of course they’re nasty!)

Thx kindly

PS I would also be interested in a consultant or coaching on this topic. Advice please.

SPOILER: There is no fast track

SECOND SPOILER: There are no manuals or one-stop solutions, it's self-taught

I've been at this since feb and I'm profiting around $7-10 a day right now with aff marketing.

Keeper is right, it is all self taught. The best thing you can do is ANTHING build a site put some adsense on it submit to social bookmarking sites etc...

Read the stickys here.

That should help.

unless your site hits big you're not gonna make shit off of adsense. i choose to promote affiliate offers.

save all your $$$, start a ppc campaign for diet or dating offers, track it with prosper202, find the keywords making you money, dump all the money you can into those keywords, pause everything else. rinse, repeat.

Definitely not this forum.

Actually, this forum is your best bet. And learn to write in a fucking legible colour. Just read EVERYTHING in this forum.

May be my signature can help.Just a note , Wickedfire is not for newbies , the contents are advanced and traffic generation techniques are up to date and may not be suitable for faint hearted newbir with $500 budget.

PPC-Coach is a paid membership site but there is some great information in there. There are also some tools that will help make launching campaigns quicker and easier.

What's just as important is avoiding the wrong resources...

-DigitalPoint forum
-Warrior forums
-Whatever the fuck coaching program you just joined
-John Chow and any other MMO blog

Here's the easy way. What do you want to do, Advertise right? Look at the platforms you want to advertise on. See what's being sold. Do something similar. It's really that simple. Don't over complicate it. Then once you spend 1-2 looking at the platforms you want to advertise on, then and only then start playing with the actual place you put ads up for that medium. Do some testing, trying and trial and error. Once you've done a bunch feel like you're stuck then ask specific questions here and you'll probably get some help.

Always remember the better question you ask the better answer you'll get.

PPC-Coach is good - So is Wickedfire :)

Yeah, with PPC Coach the first month's topic is polls, which do work well, assuming you can innovate somewhat or capitalize on a current event.

HINT: Someone do a poll on the economic crisis, throw up pics of bush, freddie & fannie, and wall street.

Well if you have a product, then TrafficTactics is good for you. If its just zip&emailz then just read dis forum.

And to further elaborate, spending $20 on Poll Control isn't that bad of an idea. You can easily build a shit ton of polls a day, which would allow you to quickly find some winners, then scale the volume of traffic = profit. I bought it, it works. Poll Control - Build high quality search engine friendly polls in a matter of seconds no aff link. However if you can figure out a better way to do it, be my guest. Main point is to build a few polls per day and continue to build while weeding out the losers.

^^^^^^^^^^^Word, quantity > quality, just throw enough shit at the wall until something sticks. For the most part, poll design should be simple, as in poll control or similar, but it's the innovative topics that should help anyone bring in some dough.

I highly recommend Ruck's post about email submits, great example of a poll about the Joker (Heath Ledger vs. Jack Nicholson) during the release of The Dark Knight, in addition to proper targeting = $$$

Well instad of wasting your time posting this kind off thread you could read the stickies , the useful threads made by the members of WF and also the blogs by the WF members which are great by the way , like the one by Nicky Cakes is good.
