Maybe i'm late to this but i'm curious what are your thoughts on this type of advertising i know kinda like something Joel comm is doing.

1 pixel for 1 dollar!

The Brit guy's website has 1 million pixels, and he sold all of them, so he is a millionaire now. *one stunned look*

Any thoughts of added your person websites? If you have clean website and adding these pixel could make your site look junk... just my thoughts

I still think there is room for a little more. Of course I would, I own a couple, but I think that they represent an acceptibly small investment considering how long the links will be active. My two sites are already sending traffic to the sites they link to and I didn't have a huge mailing list to market to. It may take me a little longer than Joel Comm to sell out but the links are steadily selling.

Interesting point..i guess you can still make a buck!!! i guess its a nice little side income for you..

I have a slightly different take on the pixel concept at http://www.bidthegrid.com
The advertising space is totally dynamic, and basically the price of ads reflects the market value. Now that the site is pretty young most ads are very cheap.

pixel advertising is sooooooo 2005... :)

really though, I think it's over for this kind of sites - the first british kid made his $$ because he had a cool/original idea and got lucky with some media attention. like fenryr said above, it's over and done with.

What's a link farm?

I don't think these'll do too well with anything. Traffic-wise, or SE-wise.
