Do you think it's right that vendors should split test their pages using super Affiliate traffic?

Or do you think they should let Super Affiliates keep one page that works well and let them split test with other "normal" affiliates traffic?

Obviously ultimately vendors can do what the fuck they like but it stands to reason I don't think it's right that vendors should run split tests with my traffic...Or if they fucking insist on playing goof with an already MASSIVELY converting product...

....they should do it on their own dime imo..:2gunsfiring_v1:

Thoughts?...

Depends.

If they are 'competent', then go for it. Frankly, there are many times where I wish an advertiser (etc.) would spend some more time testing/optimizing. Especially on my traffic...

^That's odd. Really?...

You don't mind throwing traffic to a split test page(s) even though that could suck or actually DOES suck worse than the normal page which converts extremely well, I'm talking 3%+ to stone cold traffic...

My opinion is never use the term Super Affiliates in public if you want to be taken seriously. Especially if you are using that term aligned with yourself. It screams douchebag.

Just my opinion.

huh?...ok.

I was using it as term as someone who can pull volume sales ..not just drip one or two.

But cheers for the judgement.

I'll leave this thread here.

Don't be so prickly and show some stones. Super guy can weather a dip in conversions for a minute every few weeks to grease the wheels.

Advertisers and agencies that know the benefit of consistently fresh creative win the game. God forbid they're good at it and the cro works.

Usually they are minor changes to the same LP and in my experience have been beneficial

Would you still be bitching if they split test an offer page that ends up doubling your conversions?

Of course not, so fuck off.

It all comes down to whether the offer is profitable or not for both parties.

You may be killing it on this offer, but the advertiser is not. In this case, they maybe split testing to get their own back end numbers up so they don't have to cut you off. If that's the case, and you are still making money, then let them split test away.

I split tested something in a funnel that jumped the conversion up 250%! You can imagine the affiliates were happy.
