Hey guys,

What's your favorite web hosting choice and why? Looking for good suggestions. I am only more familiar with Godaddy and Hostgator. Any others you can suggest as well as the pros and cons of each?

If I'm not running my own VPS, my favorite hosting company was a small company called MDD Hosting.

It's run by a guy and a few other employers, really nice group of people though, servers were always stable, prices were reasonable and communication when there was a problem was very fast.
 
I have used D9 for the past 3-4 years and find them brilliant.
Never had any issues with them. Iv'e had less downtime in those 3-4 years than i did for 6 months with hostgator.
They transferred all my sites for me and the customer care is real quick and helpful.
 
Have used a few in the past including hostgator , ipage and so on but recently switched to Namecheap and so far all good , I guess i'd stick with them . My domains are with them as well and can't really complain their hosting packages with their yearly pricing .
 
I was looking for an economical webhost and tried asmallorange. They have amazing servers and great value for money, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The best thing I like about them perhaps is that they are small.
