All right, so I made the mistake of purchasing one of those guides on how to make money online. I purchased the "Average Joe's Income Package." I read some reviews and what not, and figured it was decent. After finding Jon's blog and this forum, I realized that all though the information is fairly good, I could find it for free. So, as Jon suggested, I sent in my request for my refund.

Jeremy:
All right, I have tried out your product and it has some cool information I
guess, but it really isn't for me. I thought if I gave it a little more time
it might work out, but I have decided that I would like a refund, because it
wasn't really worth it to me. I'm not sure how exactly you give the refund
so I'll give you the information that I have.

<paypal and clickbank receipt information, as well as name and e-mail address used.>

Sorry for the inconvinience, but I am not satisfied with the product.

Sincerely,
Jeremy Reddick

Chris:

Please contact clickbank.com as they handle all transactions.

OK, I'm a bit irritated at that point, because this is an EXACT quote from his site:

"
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply notify
me within 56 days and I will refund your money, in full, with absolutely
no questions asked!"

I still followed by notifying clickbank, and I have not received
any notice. I am sure that I will get laughed at for posting this,
but I would like to know anyone's opinion about this guy.

Thanks guys,

Jeremy

All he told you to do was to contact clickbank about it because they handle his refunds. So far, it doesn't sound like he's trying to scam you dude.

On the other hand, if you don't get your refund, then you fell victim to another e-book scumbag.

Exactly the thing we are trying to stop, by going after the eBook Guru's who claim to sell you the all powerful secrets to $5000 a week while on a beach in your underwear, we can begin to make people realize that there is quality ways to make this work but its going to take work and its not going to be as easy as reading old information, learning crap and then having to un-learn that crap and having to re-learn the good stuff.

The simple reason for going after them is because their giving the true industry a bad name, all the internet marketing eBooks that are acting like get rich quick manuals are driving more and more people to believe that everything involved with this is a scam, when that is simply not the truth.

It pisses off the real workers of the industry when the previously scammed people don't know better when they see quality information for FREE, and they start to harass your website or blog users, by saying everything online is a scam.

Well, I did contact clickbank. I clicked the link in my clickbank receipt and requested a refund, giving my information and the reason why... But that was 3 days ago and I haven't gotten even a reply saying they are processing or anything. I was just curious about anyone's opinion.

I am very thankful for finding this site though, I have gotten a lot of insight about the real internet marketing. Unfortunately, I'm low on money right now so as far as getting started, I'm on a real budget and I'm off to a slow start, haha. Anyway, thanks for the input guys, I'll let you know how it turns out.

Come on, this is clickbank, they will refund you. Be sure they receive your request and wait.
I would say that the author perfectly handled the situation. You got an immediate answer from his blackberry. And he didn't ask any question...

Ok, I guess I got a little too eager, haha. This guy is pretty good as far as I know, thanks for the input. It calmed me down a bit more, haha.

Ok, I definitely spoke to soon. I got my reply from clickbank with the refund accepted. I will have the money within 5 business days.
