What's the best free linux now?

I used to use Redhat for this but my version is old and that old piece of crap PC finally died.

I need to setup a little server here for some testing. What's the best version now that runs Apache and has PHP5?

CentOS is a piece of outdated shit. Fedora Core is basically CentOS with packages and kernel updates that weren't released in 2003. FC10 for servers, FC12 for desktop are great. Ubuntu is and always will be shit for anything but desktops, and even then it's a pain in the ass with drivers.
