So what do you guys think I should do in this situaition? I've had one conversion, but 93k clicks... on a pay per click campaign. It comes out to being worth a little over 2800 dollars. I've been running it over the past four days.

I have a feeling if you are paying .03 a click it's not targeted for Payday loans in any way shape or form. Clicks for keywords that convert payday cost a bit more then that.

i think i would have retargeted that campaign after about 100 clicks not 93000.
unless the leads are worth 3k anyway.

what ^^^^ said. must not be targeted not ^^^^^, but the other ^^^^^

did that 1 click recoup your investment.
what ever you're doing. you're doing it wrong.

edit- what is your ad? click here for "free" ______

unless the leads are worth 3k anyway.

I know you used the idiot icon, but damn...

If you shook the entire lending tree around the world you are not going to find a lender paying more than $250 per lead even on the highest revshare agreement so yeah, $2800 is a bit overkill.

What should you do?

Stop the campaign, buy some glasses, cure your bouts of narcolepsy, or whatever else drove you to keep this campaign active. After that I think you should consult some basic material on ppc marketing and marketing campaigns in general so you don't blow any more money. There's testing and then there's waste, unfortunately this would fall into the category of waste by me.

Its PAID TO CLICK campaign, although he may be running pay per click traffic to it. He gets paid 0.03c per CLICK. ie gross of $2800. The conversion is irrelevant. Question is how much did that traffic cost him?

It didn't cost me anything, I'm the affiliate. I'm trying to get paid the three grand, I was the one that got people to click the link.

So you had 93,000 people to click on the link, without paying for that traffic at all?

right, it was done through youtube and other forum sites that i regularly post on (put in siggy).

So what is your question? You're not getting paid because the traffic didn't back out for the advertiser, and you are asking what you should do?

Right. Sounds totally legit.

Who the hell is paying you for this? Or to rephrase, why the hell would they pay you for that?

I'm just curious as to what I should do about it not converting, is it worth it pushing PPC ads?

I'm confused. Are you paid on the conversion or paid per click, as Dispel suggested.

Thats the thing that I'm confused about. I should be getting paid per click, the conversion should be the fact that they're clicking the link and loading the website.

Okay.

I posted an affiliate link in a bunch of my signiatures on different forums, as well as on youtube next to popular videos (in the description). I am supposed to be getting paid for each click I get, however, I have not been.

drink for me, too.

manna, has this advertiser clearly stated that incentive and forum traffic is allowed? has your affiliate manager asked any questions about your traffic (or earnings) since you started running this offer with them? did your affiliate manage tell you that this advertiser most likely scrubs against clicks from dupicate ip's within X amount of time?

Okay, I'm following you now. You want to know what you should do about not getting paid? Sounds like you either got suckered or they have problems with the quality. Where did you sign up for this program?
