What is the best way to promote my blog?

This has worked well for me in the past.
1. get a large peice of cardboard, a big marker pen and some string. Any craft shop will sell these.
2. Write the name of your blog in large letters and the domain name underneath. Do this on both sides of the cardboard.
3.Punch a hole in the top corners of your cardboard and attach the sting. You should now be able to put the sting over your head and wear the cardboard across your chest.
4. Mentally prepare. You are about to get major exposure for your blog. This is a big thing so prepare yourself.
5. Go to the biggest shopping mall in your area.
6. Find the most crowded area you can find and put on the cardboard.
7. Start shouting the name of your blog in the loudest voice you can manage.
Optional extras, for the biggest exposure do them all
a) Take off your pants and underwear so your bottom half is totally naked. This will get attention and help you stand out.
c) Start swinging your hips so your penis goes in a circle whilst shouting "Look at my Penis" and "If you liked that you'll love my blog", you can point to your penis and cardboard as you do this.
d) Look for the security cameras and stand in front of them whilst doing a happy penis dance. Make sure that your cardboard billboard is visible or you wont get the correct effect.
e) When security start to show an interest in your promotion, run away from them in a teasing manner, extra points if you can flap your hands whilst doing this.
If you manage to do the above you should by now have gained some significant attention. The optional extras should gain you some media attention aswell, if you did the security camera bit correctly you could even end up on the local news progam, feel free to ring them to see if you will be featured.

Never thought of that technique before. But, then again, I've never tried the whole offline marketing before. Will look into this for sure, sounds legit.
