What exactly to tell my hosting guy for my domain setup?

I need to have PHP click tracking and heatmap programming installed, do I need to tell my hosting guy anything special for the server setup? Thanks

The first step would probably be to find out which software packages you are looking to use. Once you find the packages, you can normally tell what the requirements are.

Do you know which programs you want to use for your click tracking?
Most hosting companies can offer a suggestion for this but typically they
wont code something for you from scratch.

Tell me more about what you are trying to accomplish and I can tell you precisely
how you should setup your server.

#1 What info are you wishing to accumulate?
#2 Where are the clicks coming "from"? Email campaigns? Page Banner Ads? Or?
#3 What do you wish to be able to determine with the data collected?

Be as detailed as possible and I'll do my darnedest to give you only the best technical advice.
