What do you call these type of WP themes?

I came across some nice WP themes, but before I hit the buy button, I'm looking to see whether I can find similar free themes online, but I'm stumped with what to search for?

For instance, these themes all have widescreen type images, are responsive, have videos in the home screen template, and basically, well look really nice as they don't have block images and so on? I tried to search for widescreen templates WP, but didn't get any that looked this grand.

Any one use any similar free templates (I tried the responsive default of WP, but it seemed really dull!)

Anytheme on themeforest has that. Basically you want a pimped out slider option, check out revolutionslider. Comes as a free standard on most new envato themeforest themes.

To add to the above, looking at the source code, they're using the HTML5 <video> tag to display a full bleed video. From line 224:

Google for "modernizr". A both themes use this JavaScript. By the way here a list with 34 free Wordpress theme frameworks with comparison chart.

Just note it's really easy to break any theme by elegantthemes (or at least it used to be)

Speaking of which, are mobile plugins like WPtouch a good alternative for non-responsive themes?
