Sites like shopping.com etc. are blatanly in the business of advertising arbitrage, where they buy traffic on google for TONS of keywords in the hopes of making more money via paid listings and adsense.
I can understand that sites like shopping.com provide some great added value to their site, and benifit from the added value as they get repeat visitors without having to spend on adwords for traffic...
An arbi page is doing the exact same thing, except the page is a little more straight forward.
Example: a shopping.com page ofcourse tries to make the visitor click on a paid listing, same goes for a arbi page.
I guess its the added value of full product information, reviews, etc. But at the core its the same thing.
