So, on january 5th i started a few new CONTENT campaigns in an established account and everything was running good, i was getting good traffic (20k+ clicks/daily) and on january 6th my card got declined for 7k, so my ads stopped running. It then was successfully charged for that 7k the next day and my ads started running again. Then at about 10pm on january 7th i noticed my ads stopped running yet again at 10pm so i went to bed and checked back on the 8th and it turns out my card was declined again for 7k on the 7th and on the 8th so that explains why my ads stopped running. So i called amex and got it figured out so on january 9th (friday) my card was successfully charged for the remaining balance and everything was paid off. Then i talked to adwords support and they said my ads should start running in 3 hours. It's now the 11th and my ads are still not running yet. They assured me on friday morning that my ads would start running that day since my card was successfully charged however they never started running. They also said there was NOTHING wrong with my account and it was NOT under review. So i then thought it might be a QS issue, so i switched my content only campaigns to show on the search network, then went and viewed my quality score and they are all OK 7/10 so my quality score is fine. But then I wanted to see somthing, so i created a new account and uploaded my campaigns into the new account (didn't change anything, same domain, campaign names, etc..) however my QS were 1/10 Poor. So, in this new account my quality scores are poor, but in the established account that isn't running they are all OK. Is this because adwords can tell they are duplicate of other campaigns running so they automatically assign it poor?

Anyways, does anyone know why this is happening? I see no signs of my account being under review, since usually the ad diagnostic tool with say "you have reached and exceed your daily budget", and it says my QS are OK so i dont think its a quality issue, and its not a billing issue because my card was successfully charged. So, does this sound like somthing to anyone? Adwords support said nothing is wrong so..

So from what I understand is that you're card is now working properly, but you're account isn't getting any content clicks whatsoever?

If I were you, I would:

Delete this current campaign.
Buy a new domain, and put the landing page on that one.
Put the campaign back on a new account.

Getting a new domain, and starting on a new account always fixed 90% of my problems.

you may have seen my thread earlier today, but there are definitely some funky adwords stuff going on. I had very similar problems, except that my campaigns paused after a normal break during my scheduling. one day they just never really came back on. I'm still trying to figure it out.

and these are not acai blogs.

Don't touch it yet, I had almost the exact same problem, and volume comes back after a day or two (a slow buildup), just talk to support, they can escalate it to a specialist team that can check if your campaign has a problem, not with QS just with something or other being set right in the system to make sure imps are being served.

I'd chat live with them and then just be patient. If the problem persists you may need to create a new account/new campaign, thats just how it goes...

ok well what i just did was, copied my current campaigns and uploaded them in another account however they ran but then the quality score went to poor pretty fast. I think that was because my other campaigns were still on active ,so the new ones got a poor quality score since they were duplicates. not sure, but my QS in my messed up campaigns are still ok. i'll talk to them tommorrow and see what they say

I have had the same problem where the QS shows as OK but the ads receive very little traffic. Also changing domain and account and got poor QS right away. Although I definitely deserved the low QS but it ran for months before that. I assumed that it was a change in algorithm and the account just never updated the QS again.

Yeah, I wouldn't do anything until at least tomorrow.

Because you called them on Friday, and it's still Sunday over there, it could be that traffic won't start flowing again until Monday and open of business for the week.

Almost same exact prob here, they escalated it to a tech on like Friday and I'm waiting for a response. I keep getting spurts of traffic then it stops. 120 adgroups, like 30 randomly getting traffic.

Not acai, not even weight loss niche.

That's exactly what I got here, too. I hope this is just kink the system.

Google doesn't lower your QS if your ad text happens to be the same as that in another account. The same display and destination url as someone else is fine too, but only 1 of your ads will show in the same ad block. There's nothing wrong with doing all this. Bigger companies usually manage multiple adwords accounts, and campaigns get copied between them all the time.

The bad QS in your fresh account means google thinks poorly of your campaign. Simple as that. So this could be a sign of an impending slap on your established account's campaign, which has a better (temporary) QS only because of its history. But you never know with google. Just wait a couple days to see if things improve.

Update, I really hate their support. They said it's because I blocked 3 domains that have sent me traffic when this has nothing to do with it. The domains sent me 300 impressions/3 clicks this whole month.

I sent a more detailed response now and hopefully it gets to someone that isn't retarded.

One of the adgroups is like this:

1-4-09: 0 impressions, 0 clicks
1-5-09: 12,573 impressions, 11 clicks
1-6-09: 12,368 impressions, 25 clicks
1-7-09: 10,946 impressions, 18 clicks
1-8-09: 1868 impressions, 4 clicks (huge impressions drop)
1-9-09: 0 impressions, 0 clicks (adgroup has no activity, while some others do)
1-10-09: 2476 impressions, 1 click (minor traffic)
1-11-09: 0 impressions, 0 clicks (no activity again)

For what its worth, i had a 2 hour chat with google tonight. the rep says , after 2 hours of the best torture I can put him through on chat, that because I did some optimizing of my campaigns, changing prosper 202 tracking numbers and reloading ads that my campaign stopped because each change triggers an "review" of the new ad.

he says that's why I got zero impressions the next day and that I deleted my account as they were approving the new set of tracking numbers.

i just cant believe this is true. it just sounds absurd. at the very least its not consistent with other as tracking changes I made before.

but thats all i got after 2 hours of the spanish inquisition. at least i made him work for his $3 an hour.

Only thing I did was add about 25 new adgroups on the 4th and change around 5 adgroups' bids. Every adgroup out of the new 25 has gotten atleast some traffic except 1. Weird as fuck.
