Never on a site that has launched with ads no. I can bet it would happen if a visitor suddenly saw ads on a site that did not previously have them though.

No problem as long as the ads match content

I have put ads in a site that had not had ads before and have not had any complaints. If the ads reflect the content of the site it should not be a problem. If anyone asks, they haven't yet, I will explain that it is to help defray the costs of the site.:xyxthumbs:
