Hey guys, im starting to do a media buy with a network now as my first buy with a 2k drop to test etc on my current converting campaign and i wanted to use my own adserver not theirs as i do not want to lose money for bullshit stuff happening.

The question im asking is how do i use open x to sever banners since openx ask for zones on websites etc.

Cheers Guys

Im also very interested.
What i want to do is use my own OpenX installation to serve banners on a big network.
Since OpenX works using "Websites" and specific "Zones" attached to them i dont know how to do it.
Example: for direct buys is OK to send the code to the webmaster. But when you are dealing with a Network?

Anyone?

I've been playing around with this. It seems you can only change weightings at a campaign / banner level. You can't change weightings at a zone level.

So from what I can work out if you have multiple 300x250 placements in your network buy (site a, site b, site c, etc). And if you want to be able to adjust the weightings on each placement individully, then you need to setup a new campaign and a new zone for each. Which makes it really laborious because you have to upload each advertiser multiple times for each placement.

No idea how frequency capping across all that either.

Anyone with more experience mediabuying got any advice? Either that or any tips on a sub 0.5c CPM commercial adserver welcome :)
