Uptodate publications on adwords?

What's my best resource for getting up to speed with Adwords? Other than just learning a few expensive lessons.

I dabbled in it 3 or 4 years ago, but not touched it since. Dare I mention, I could even stretch to a dirty ebook - but I'd also invest real books, websites, fortune telling or wisdom from anyone's Mother if the info was good.

The dog said it. Adword is a completely different beast than it was 3 or 4 years ago. So, definitely use their learning center to get up to speed.

Once you do that, you'll be able to better leverage strategies that are effective. Discovering those strategies is a matter of reading forums, blogs, making friends, testing and sometimes just stumbling on them by plain luck.

Most of the things I do regarding keyword research, ad copywriting, lander design, offer selection and bidding strategies for Adwords came from other people. But, they didn't just give it to me. I had to read between the lines and test everything out.

You won't find the good stuff spelled out in the learning center and most people won't be motivated to spill their secrets either.

It's mostly a matter of listening, reading between the lines and doing a lot of testing.

At least in my experience.

But, do the learning center first to get up to speed on the changes.
