Unusual Ecommerce

So its not an unusual idea its just an unusual situation since its the opposite of regular ecommerce.

My website is based around recycling goods. I want it to function like a cash for gold site, gazelle.com, or bookbyte.com
where I buy items from the people going to the site.
I like gazelle.com how I think it gives them the prepaid label right then instead of cash4gold sends a kit.

Whats the best platform to build this on? Is there an option for this on an already existing platform? (For instance if I could just reverse magento or something like that)

How would I integrate the UPS prepaid shipping for the customer to be able to send there goods to me?

I use these guys which is excellent cause you can edit their source code and seo the shopping cart. Magento is a bitch if you get too many products, it'll slow down the entire site. Your best bet is to call ups/fedex/usps and see what options they have for you, im pretty sure fedex has prepaid shipping labels you can send with a click.
