I was contemplating commissioning some freelance to code me an "Undercover Profits-like" script so I can automate some of my affiliate research. Yes, yes, I know the ONLY 300 REMAINING - BUY NOW! version is craptacularly overpriced, but I do see some merit since I value my time.

My questions are
  • do you guys think it's worth throwing out on some freelance websites?
  • Do you think all those guys in India or wherever will get it right?
  • Does anyone have some research script that is similar that they wouldn't mind selling?
 


I've used eLance in the past for web design and programming. Got a firm in Pakistan that was very competent. Look at the feedback and eLance earnings to make sure you get hooked up with a trusted source.
 
Don't do it. I wasted about $600 on UC and all it told me was which ads were running the longest, their keywords, etc.

What it DOESN'T tell you is if those campaigns are making any money. So, you copy their ads, etc., etc...

And you find how bad their campaign is by losing Adwords money.

The concept for the program is good. But you receive metrics that don't necessarily tell you anything about the profitablity of the campaign.

Don't bother duplicating it.
