TACOS $1.00!
zensix.com
I just received an offer from someone to buy a domain I never got around to developing: ulpc.net

I was originally going to hire someone to maintain it as a blog... or perhaps promote ebay on it... It ranks #3 in Google for "ULPC" which either means "ultra-lightweight PC" or "ultra-lowcost PC" depending on who you ask (think the Asus Eeepc, etc...). It gets anywhere from 50-250 uniques a month, all from Google or type in traffic.

Anyway, if it were you, would you sell it for $450 or develop it?

If you need the cash, sell it.

I think $450 is a little cheap though.

If you aren't in desperate need for the cash, you're better off building it. It seems to me that it wouldn't be that difficult to attract a fairly large amount of organic traffic. In a few months you could sell it for 4500 instead of 450.

It's only going to increase in value if you do the right thing.

For sure man, if thats not a kick in your ass to get up and do something with it, nothing will help.

Develop it, do some link building, then sell... or keep it if it makes you some cash.

I vote to develop it as well. It wouldn't be hard to put some content on it and sell it for more later.

You'll always make more by developing a domain name.

However, $450 for a 4 char .net was more than reasonable. I picked up gfuy.com for $50. Of course - it doesn't stand for anything, but it is a .com (and developed now, of course.)

Yeah, $450 for a 4 char.net is actually a good price.

I bought p12.org for like $80.

I just checked, and it's showing that it's ranked as #2 on Google for "ULPC" now. :p I'd keep it...develop it further, and you may get even more from it over time.
