Can someone in the UK reccomend a decent accountant they use to set up their limited company and do their monthly book keeping e.t.c

I guess I could just go with my local accountant but I was wondering if anyone went with someone who maybe specialised in keeping accounts for affilliate marketers?

For formation I used Company Wizard - just google them. At the time, it was £40 and automated but I think the price has dropped now - yay economy!

For accountancy I just use the local one. Just makes things easier.

Sohan the company wizard looks simple enough to set up. Is that pretty much all I need then? I can just send the details to my accountant who will mamage the book keeping?

Speak to your accountant before forming the company - make sure its the right option for you and the right time to do it. They'll help you understand all of the costs (e.g. only £40 to form on Company Wizard but when you start adding in annual return fees, PAYE fees, etc it grows considerably), all of your legal obligations and how best to structure the financial side of your business.

I also would recommend doing your own bookkeeping, it doesnt take too much time and it'll really help you understand your company finances and your current and future financial positions.

Awesome thanks for these! If you dont mind me asking, what are your monthly charges with the 2nd option?

I'm using them for my tax "optimized" setup, so charges are obviously higher. Not sure what they charge for regular returns.

What sort of set up would you advise to someone who earns around $6000 a month

I'd probably say staying sole trader would be far easier. But then you do have to take on all the liability etc.

I did the LTD option from the begining and haven't had any hitches yet. I find that having that also gets more respect from banks etc. But you should look into the pros and cons of both.

I have no problems with going Limited as goes, I think it will motivate me to take this seriously as a business and grow it as a real enterprise. I think psychologically I will also take my expenses and outgoings a little more seriously.

I know this sounds pathetic and I should be doing this anyway but if Im going to take this to the next level I need to go the whole hog and register this as a Limited Company.

I've been quoted by these guys not sure if these services are steep or what.

Accountancy Fee Guide | Fixed Fee Taxation Services : HRBS.biz | Fixed Fee Accountants | Free Guides | Save Tax | VAT Advice | Self Employment Help

Any advice on what these guys charge would be great.

Anymore UK affiliates able to share how they set their companies up and organise their monthly accounts?

I live travel most of my life atm and have bank accounts in 3 different countries. I'm not earning a shitload but haven't paid a cent in tax yet :D
