UFC Buys Strikeforce

It looks like it will be business as usual and the UFC / Strikeforce will be separate entities. Its just that Dana and Co can officially say that they own their asses.
Coker will still run Strikeforce and talent will not be jumping across organizations unless their contracts run out. Nothing much will change besides the occasional B-level UFC fighter going to Strikeforce and Strikeforce ads running on UFC programming and vice versa.
I think it will be at least 2-3 years until a full merger is done in a PRIDE/WEC style manner, because Strikeforce still has TV deals with Showtime and CBS plus they have a bigger following than the WEC had.
Pity as it would have been nuts to see Overeem VS Velasquez or Jacare, Miller, Diaz, Henderson etc. in the UFC

Wow. This is huge.
If they do eventually merge the two leagues then we may finally get to see Fedor fighting some of the big UFC guys like Brock Lesnar.
