Hello,

I am new to wickedfire, and am trying to get my feet wet with one of my local sites.

It is, actually, the first site I have ever put time and effort to, and I was wondering how one would go about finding geo-targeted backlinks?

I am specifically looking for Canada, and more specifically trying to find Quebec, or french related ones with juice power. :) :love-smiley-086:

I want to climb the ranks slowly, but in a legit whitehat manner.

I am currently working on fixing the meta tags of the site, and the titles, as well as checking what my competition, which currently ranks really well in Quebec, is doing, and I want to outrank them.

Can anyone offer any advice or help on the matter? :)

Any suggestion of value towards getting backlinks is much appreciated.

Thanks.

Scrape your KWs serps in google .ca & .fr to find the sites ranking in that location.

Here is a good python script to grab emails based on google searches:
https://github.com/kennyledet/Google-EmailScraper

Grab as many emails as you can and bulk email all of the site owners requesting a link to trade or even offer moniez for a small text link.

This should get you some clean authority links from websites in your niche/targeted location.

The good thing about local business people (who happen to own websites related to their business) is how most are not savvy enough to know that you are link building at their PR expense. So they are likely to sell you a link on their website with no problem. You just have to go over any local directories to find related businesses that could suit your needs and make that first contact via email or letter in the mail.

You mention getting links in a "legit whitehat manner", but if you're willing to pay for text links, why not pick up some .CAs from the weekly CIRA droplist and build out some high quality pumper sites?

The appearance of whitehat is what matters if your goal is to rank longterm, not following Google's arbitrary, constantly shifting guidelines. A handful of well built pumper sites can "look" a lot more whitehat than a bunch of purchased textlinks on some random local business sites and give you much higher ROI as well.

While doing every whitehat stuff you wanted. Go a little below white and build your own Blog Networks. Buy old aged domains. Check the stats and build the site and link it back. For $200 you can get a PR 5 site with decent alexa rank and DA, PA good

here's one solid Enlightenment post from Shawnhags

Instead of mass emailing guys and offering them $$$$ for a link. Then after 3 months they remove your link without noticing it, this method of building your own links is much more reliable than that

I am also looking for a Canadian Link Building Provider if any of you have one to recommend it would be appreciated.

Thanks
