Seen that quite a few of the 'State of Trances' have been posted up here, so just wondered if any of you are heading to Global Gathering UK this year?

Huge lineup with all the big dance, trance artists including Armin!

Trance is so 1993 for me. Most of my early vinyl is trance, Harthouse, Rising High, R&S, Exist Dance, +8, etc. etc. Probably close to a thousand trance 12"s.

Now I'm well into jacking, thumping, groovy deep house.

WMC (Winter Music Conference) is on right now in Miami and the promo and live sets are all coming down the pipe. You can follow this thread here in the house posting. It has the schedule for all the parties listed, the DJs playing, and the live sets posted once they are available...

I saw armin van buuren in a sleepy little ski town in Canada. I couldn't find a place with decent music there for the whole time, except for that one night :p

Cool Stuff! My sis is there now. You may know her stuff - she was on Top of The Pops a while ago. Not gonna name her tho'......

Are these sets truly deep house or popcorn-y top 40 stuff?
 
I wish I'd been around for the 90s trance, was only born in 1989 though.
 
i have every ASOT and clublife, and absolutely shit loads of general trance, practically everything tiesto, cant get enough of it, been collecting since the early 90s :)

i went to "in qontrol" a couple years ago at the RAI in amsterdam. that's a real party. trance is ok for the car or desk, but hardcore/hardstyle is better at parties.
