I posed this question in the newbie area and failed to get a response...so I will try here!

I use domain redirects through my web host for a couple affiliate offers. This lets me advertise a more user friendly domain name.

Ex. I advertise buythis.com - which redirects to yuoo8yu9yy08y0y.com (affiliate link) - and lands on thisproduct.com

It works great...but my web host does not track any of the traffic stats in this format.

Is there a way to use this idea AND track clickthrough stats? Right now I have no way of knowing how many users clicked on the domain or where they came from.

hell even a 302 temporary redirect would work. I didn't see your other post. Oh well.

Or you could just setup a stats program, include it on index.php and then header() all the people outta there. And in case they go to any other pages, 301 them to your index and repeat the previous step :)
