How, for fucks sake, do I track organic conversions?

Scenario:

Someone googles OMGZAMAZINGPRODUCT, clicks SERP result, lands on my website. Clicks "omgzBUYNOW!!!!!" Buys product.

Conversion happens. Offsite.

Is there a way to track that conversion w/ google analytics?

I know I can set up goals, and set up a target page or whatever as long as the goal url is on my site, but I have no clue how to track my organic affiliate product conversions.

Is there a way to do this with Prosper202? Any other recommendations?

Hopefully this question is completely nub so that 1. you flame the fuck out of me. & 2. I get the answer to a question I've been trying to figure out for too long.

Gracias.

Much harder now that Google has stopped you from seeing a vast chunk of keyword referrers.

Prosper should work just fine, google analytics will lose all the referrer etc data if you use analytics and its ecommerce conversion pixel - at least that's what happened in my experience.

So far I suck with setting up organic tracking with prosper, since i'm thrown off by prosper being designed for ppc. yeah ... i suck.

Any tips from someone who has successfully set up organic tracking with prosper?

I'm just guessing here, but would something like a track back in hitpath work?

I'm pretty sure with prosper, you place the landing page code in the footer. I read about it once but that was about it. never implemented it.

Set up prosper just like you would normally, but obviously you're just not using ads...it tracks everything just fine, referrer, kw, click thru, conversion...always has done for me.

Does this mean you set up the site as a landing page (in prosper?)

Then Prosper 202 tracks the click like "Buy Now" to the product page -> conversion -> pixel fired = shows keyword used for conversion?

Not sure if that's right.
