Tracking From PPC to Aff. Network

I use variables to send ppc visitors to my landing page http...xxx.com/page.html?Keywork=cars

On the page I have an affiliate offer, if the offer is click, will the merchant know the keyword=cars? In essence will they know my converting keywords?

Im using a tracking software but wondering if those kind of variables are passed to the merchant when the offer is clicked.

yes, you should encode them so they look like gibberish to the network.

ex:
cars -> 1
trucks -> 2
etc.

Yeah they will get the referrer from the click. Redirecting from another domain is one idea.
