1)What is the best PPC search engine to use? I've started out with Google so far and I hate it for many reasons, especially the incredible inaccuracy of their keyword tool, especially about things like cost per click.

2)What is the best affiliate website? I've been using clickbank, but I hear all over this forum that it sucks and that seems to be so because with some campaigns I get loads of clicks and not one sale. I've also invested into cbproads.com to get a clickbank mall, and that doesn't to convert either.

3)Are ANY of these e-books like Forex and whatnot worth it? They all promise things, but I feel like I've been cheated because I've spent alot on the internet on things like that so far and haven't made one red cent online.

also, somewhat off topic, but I bought Google Cash and have been e-mailing the author of it for a refund at least 3 times and he hasn't responded. Is he known for this and if so how do I get my money back?

Don't start with google - start with Yahoo! .. You can direct link with them without getting a fucked up QS.

Don't buy any eBooks. I know as a noob they look promising, but don't buy that garbage. You won't learn shit.

Oh not this shit again....sorry kingfish, nothing personal.

But this reminds me always of the answer to all noob questions of "how do I make money" which always is "Build a website that has something everyone loves" well guess what. Porn.com is taken, so no more easy answers.

There's a couple of ideas here on how to make money, and what to advertise.

I personally think that there are a couple of good ebooks out there, and if don't want spend any money there's the http://www.wickedfire.com/affiliate-marketing/10491-free-ebook-download-section.html

I like the adwords blackbook dvd's which are available at your favorite torrent site

I personally learned a lot from shoe money's "10k experiment" posts:
The $10,000.00 experiment with ppc Part 1 - ShoeMoney®
10k ppc experiment part2 - ShoeMoney®

I would def jump onto yahoo if you are looking for a good beginners platform for PPC - As proxyhub mentioned its easier cause you don't have the QS dragging you down.

As far as networks, Theres
Commission Junction
Neverblue Ads
Copeac
CPA Empire
Rocket Profit
Azoogle

Google them, or Im sure someone can bust some Aff links out to you

Bout to try Yahoo myself. I've read in many places they are the best PPC to start. Of course I started with G. Got the QS to OK or Great, but they are still on the expensive side and have more competitors.

The one thing that turns me off about Yahoo is the ads get reviewed, and I've heard it often takes a while.

MSN has rode the donkey bone for me. No traffic at all. I'm guessing there are a few niches that have tons of traffic from MSN. Probably trailer park traffic since most $300 HPs from Walmart prob default to Live / MSN.

Clickbank is good if you think a bit outside the box.

Find a product that you or somebody you know well would use. I am currently hammering the hell out of a niche moms and teachers can't get enough of.

Spending money on kids is easy for adults to do. Don't forget why the sweet cereal is closer to the bottom where we adults don't often see it...

I'm no pro at ppc by any means, but it's not really that difficult if you focus on small, targeted campaigns, and track the shit out of the results.

I just started using adwords after ASW with a goal to get to $50k/month spend by May.

I think that attitude as been what's helped me bust out and start doing well with my first few tries.

example:
DAY 1 - I launched a campaign, and got 0 conversions after spending $100 on $1+ clicks. oops... that was $100 well spent because I was able to see all the data that comes over from Google to use on my landing page for customization.

Day 2 - I set up a newly configured landing page to customize the pitch to my visitors, and instead of having 1 big US campaign, I broke it down into 5 local campaigns, to cover areas my research showed my offer being in highest demand. SCORE! Total customization = conversions. I spent like $50 and made close to $50.

Day 3 - I created a content network campaign and a website placement campaign, added some global negative keywords, and created 5 more local-based campaigns. Spent $150 made $450!

I've done more tests, and added more campaigns, and things are pretty solid as far as results go.

So, if you do what I did, just focus locally on keywords that are obviously popular, bid high for the #1 spot, track like mad, and customize your landing page to your visitors.

good luck.

not read every detail of posts, but...

How on earth do you expect to make any money (online or otherwise) if you're not prepared to invest - on educating yourself how to do it? It takes time, patience, focus, diligence, staying power, research, you name it. Any business required investment. If you make a few bucks in your first year, consider yourself to have done well, and evidence of having learned something. You're a newbie so PPC will likely rip you apart, look at other avenues, free ones like article marketing (search onine), for instance.

I second that. I find that I learn more from forums like these and on free websites than from idiotic e-books that teach you some type of "program" to get rich. How many people on the Forbes list got rich from a "program?" More importantly, how many people even make a their income from one?

Also, if you do the research, you find that most of these guys selling e-books really do make their money on the e-books, and not on what they tell you to do.
