TOOLS: check backlinks, check indexation

Quite often I want to check backlink reports that suppliers send me, in terms of:

- are these pages already in Google Index?
- do these pages have a backlink to my site?


SEOadministrator or it's also called SEOmonitor is quite a nice tool to do both, but it only works with Windows.

Can you suggest some nice tool for Mac? Or maybe a web service? Preferably a free one

I believe ahrefs doesn't find the links that fast when it comes to google indexing... please correct me if I'm wrong...

The OP needs a tool to check for the Indexed links provided to him. So I think a hrefs will delay the find after receving the reports. But its a good way to get your trackbacks and monitor the activity. but not 100% accurate on the Indexed by google part which the OP asking for..

you can use scrapebox Link checker tool on this question.

you have to buy scrapebox for this...

put the URL list on a Notepad. Import on Scrapebox Harvester > click on "check Index" > choose google.
And you will see results like "yes or No" only if it's indexed or not by google..

For checking reports, can't think anything else than Scrapebox.

A free link checker is released by Sweetfunny the creator of Scrapebox, check that! I'm not sure if it checks indexation, but it checks links for sure.
