Tool needed - anyone interested?

I'm getting bored with my main project ( it's on a temporary standstill for the next few weeks ) and decided to start a side project.

It's a 'news' aggregator type site in a very specific niche. What I've done is set up an online feedly/diggreader rss reader and added a huge list of relevant sites for obvious aggregation purposes. I'd use a completely automated plugin like WP RSS Aggregator, but some of the stories in the niche are bizarro/conspiratorial in nature and need to keep those off the site. In other words, the need to moderate the stories is high to keep the site news worthy.

I figure I needed an in-house tool to automate one of my tasks.

I'd like to be able to focus on the stories that are beginning to trend. I don't have the unlimited bank roll to create an AI program to predict what is about to go viral ( think Clarabridge ) and my needs don't necessarily warrant this kind of service.

So what I'm thinking is, tracking the social shares/likes/g+'s/ect on the stories themselves.

I need a program that will crawl through my rss feed stories list > open the links > gather social signal info > bring back the social totals. This is all the info I believe I'll need.

I'd also like to ability to choose the age of the link. For instance, to pick all of the stories in the last 1 hr, 3 hrs, 6 hrs, 12 hrs 24 hrs and record the history of the totals for each link. This would allow me to compare the previous totals with current totals, giving me a good idea of which stories are starting to trend/go viral.

Any coders in here interested in assisting me with something like this?? Not looking for a freebie, looking for a price quote. Should be an easy tool to program for those with the skillz.

The misconception that easy = fast needs to end.

Just because something is dead stupid easy does not mean it can be done stupid fast, and/or for cheap. Very simple things combined to make "your project" can take a long time, and still cost a lot of money.

Thought I'd throw this out there since about every client in the world who doesn't regularly do dev projects always says "it's easy right? it shouldn't take long".... lol, like they mean the same thing or something.

I appreciate you're willingness to bring my lack of experience in the process of automation dev to my attention. I admit, I'm a complete newb...although that should've been obvious based on my OP..otherwise I would've developed the program myself. Never said I was I was looking for something "stupid fast"...not quite sure where you got that from (assumptions are not your strongest trait...I assume). I also never said I was asking for a "stupid cheap" price. I guess gathering social signals is not so easy...or cheap to dev. Maybe it's too difficult of a job for you...maybe not...you didn't give any indication either way.

As I said in my last sentence, I'm looking for a quote. Is this something you're able to handle? If so, pm me, but I'm not looking to get raped on the price just because I don't know how to dev the program I need. We're all in business to make money, not fuck each other. Tell me what your hourly rate is and 'about' how many hours it will take or give me a flat rate. I don't give a shit what type of quote it is.

Nevertheless I'm gonna have to have someone create this for me since I obviously don't have the experience. I'd rather post the request here first rather than throw the offer onto elance or odesk. I've worked with a few exceptional suppliers on this forum over the last year. I'd look into ubot but I hear it can be unstable from time to time.
