Did anyone else happen to catch the Today Show today? I hardly ever watch it but I was humoring my wife this morning...

They did a segment on a bunch of people earning "Thousands a month by posting videos on Youtube".

They then went on to some very select examples of people who all in all had created real businesses that way - but the hype around it was just ridiculous.

I should have brought Dogpile.com up at the end of that segment just to watch people searching for how to make money on Youtube...

philly d and a bunch of others do make a lot on youtube though. Something like 600k over a few years I think but they're the fucking stars of youtube everyone can't achieve that.
