Through my own testing im 100% sure that Google doesnt allow you any more than a certain number of domains in any niche. Even if you doubt this I still think its a pretty good idea to keep your sites separate where possible.

I thought I was with a new site I setup on a new host last year but I didnt know there was a DNS field called "rname". This only shows up on some whois sites and the webhost somtimes puts the clients email address (im sure google has access). Not realising this was a costly misstake as Google connected the dots on this site and it never ranked and I wasted a year of work.

Now this may seem a little "tinfoil hat" but im thinking about aquiring both domain and hosting without any personally identifiable info geting into the process, name - email - address etc. But doing this doesnt seem so easy, even paypal sends all my details every time. Maybe prepaid credit cards are the answer?

Thing is I know keeping domains seperate is an issue other people have, maybe im taking it to an extreme because I dont understand the whole process.
