Timeline: Mohammed Emwazi's life

This is kind of an interesting read, seems like he's been hassled a lot but I wonder at what point of his life he actually became radicalized and what the tipping point was.

This dude is toast now, though. I was pretty impressed with how quickly they found out who the guy behind the mask was.

Everyone is already on his ass ,but I don't care how you were treated, I don't know how you can behead someone alive the way he did. He was from a well off family, what a dumbass.

If I had to guess I'd say it was when the security forces cock-blocked him.

He returns to Kuwait, where he makes plans to marry. He then travels back to London, but when he tries to return to Kuwait, he is not allowed to check in. Instead, he's interrogated for six hours. After trying to return to Kuwait a day later, he is denied boarding and learns his visa has been refused. He loses his job in Kuwait, and his fiancée calls off their engagement.

He did try to get another job after that, but I think he was probably broken at that point and just going through the motions. When he didn't get the English teaching job, he was probably like "fuck this shit, I'm out." And instead of just killing himself like a pussy, he spit on his hands, raised the black flag (of the Islamic State) and went off to go slit some throats.

Not admiring the guy or trying to rationalize/justify any of his actions, but I think I understand his motivation a little. You can only fuck with certain people so much before they go off the rails.

Must be a bitch being muslim. Like they're not given the freedom/option to choose an alternative view to reality (i.e. 'World view'). No 'renaissance' or 'age of reason' or some radical 'brain jolting' event that smacked them upside the head. Like living in 9th century europe where you become a christian martyr because you don't see an alternative view to the reality you're in. Today, if you're a christian, you'd simply say "fuck religion", "religion doesn't work, it's all bullcrap, a mindfuck", and become an agnostic, athiest, and/or at least give up on your faith. Plenty of ex-christians in the west, heck, even on this board. You have this freedom/option to say 'fuck religion' and choose a different 'world view' to live by.
 
Islam isn't that much different from Judaism or Christianity, It just hasn't been domesticated yet. There are maybe more threats more often for non believers or misbehaving believers in the koran than in the bible or Torah/Histories/Prophets. There is also more of a guarantee of divine compensation depending on the manner of death. Combine that with poor living conditions for many in the muslim world and that fact that hardliners in any religion tend to hover around 10% and you wind up with a fair amount of religious folks prepared to be near or completely suicidal in their convictions. I wonder what the future is going to look like.

We will never know. Piece of uneducated, weak and full of complexes meat. You would have to examine his family and childhood to get some ropes. Seriously, most likely he was totally lost just like many other guys who at some point decides to make world a "better" place. This movie Cleanskin (2012) - IMDb says it quite nicely how it can happen. It's not about turning bad per se, it's more about becoming recognized and important. He is not from truly loving and understanding family, that's for sure in my opinion.
