Seems like pretty much any number you choose is a multiple of 9, and all the multiples of 9 are the exact same gift.. 9,27,36,45,54,63,72,81,99
pick any number you like.. solve that formula, and you'll end up with one of the above.
 
yeah we've been over this, it's a math trick. look at every single multiple of 9 in the chart. when you do what it asks, you will always result in a multiple of 9.

37 - 3 - 7 = 27, 27=9*3, multiple of 9.

it will *always* be right.

The real trick is that once you find the item in the grid, you'll probably click through to the next screen before you realize how the grid is set up.
 
Wow that brings back memories. My dad taught me how to program that exact math trick in Qbasic when I was 10
 
Am I doing something wrong? I have tried 5 times and it was wrong every time?

EDIT: Nevermind it works. Pretty cool...
