The Tonedeaf Test

88.9% with no musical training but I listen to a lot of music. I always thought I have a good musical ear

91.7%, played clarinet & sax to about grade 6 standard, self taught electric guitar, but not played guitar for over a year now, and clarinet/sax since ~17. Did grade 5 music theory too, and I'm listening to music most of the time.

I was naturally pretty good at spotting errors in music when listening to tracks, singing scales, etc..

88.9%, no musical training. Tried it again to see if I could get 100% and I got 86.1%.

edit: tried a third time, 88.9%, still can't get the coveted 100%

100%. I use to play piano when I was younger and self taught guitar but I don't play neither anymore for years. Also I listen to music basically all hours I'm awake and use to sleep with headphones since I was like 6 because my tinnitus ringing is annoying. Another thing to take into consideration is I have an obsession with patterns so that's probably why I got a high score regardless of "music knowledge".

86.1% Correct.

1 year or so of guitar training but I've always thought I had a pretty good ear.

Lol why am I not surprised, I has a memory deficit. 55.6%

Though I never played any instruments, and I only listen to music as a way to drown out ambient sounds. I could listen to a song 100 times and never actually "hear" it.

91.7%

I'm a 100% self taught guitarist with no formal training aside from some theory and jazz appreciation classes. I agree that it's more of a memorization than anything, but you still have to hear the subtle differences in notes and tones to answer correctly.
