The PPC Idea

So what I'm getting is that you find an offer to promote affiliate-wise from any particular niche whatsoever, setup a landing page for that offer, and find a bunch of long-tail keywords to promote the page through PPC with. Then, for example if the offer converts 1:300 clicks and pays you $20 then you need to be paying 6.6 cents or less to break even/turn profit. After you get it setup to turn a profit, you just ramp up your budgets and tweak your ppc bids as necessary to increase your numbers.

Do I have the basic idea? Is this the "PPC arbitrage" stuff or what is that?

That's the basic PPC-->CPA model, yes.

The hard part is keyword research....

Sounds easy on paper, doesn't it? Honestly the best thing you can do is just try it. Will you loose money? More than likely. Will you learn more than you ever will reading forums? Absolutely.

Yep that's the PPC model. You can learn a lot by testing with with $30 - $50 / day.

I don't use PPC. There are still a lot of sites in which I can rent ad space for monthly or even yearly rates.

For US$30, I could rent 15 of them in a fairly visited site.
