The next possible billion dollar app.

thought plenty of these grindr-for-straight-people type things had already launched and failed?

Sorry I'm not too familiar with the gay sex Mobile market, my apologies.
All I know is a kick ass product when I see one.

You have to say 25 McGrunins for not being up on the gay mobile market.

lol at abdullah's comment:

you want a real kick ass app that will really make people 'get out there and meet new people'? try an app that stops people from watching porn. period. there is no motivation to go out there and meet people (much less seriously want to commit with them in a relationship) when all your desires and fantasies are a click away (at least so you think).. beh

I'm a firm believer that the best solutions are very simple.

This is basically a hot or not app that grabs your data from facebook and shows you potential matches in a 50 mile radius. You only get to message each other if you both display interest.

It's simple. And it's genius.

Is this like that app that a WF member wanted to develop, where you could flirt with chicks that were 10 feet away from you in the club, when you were too afraid to talk to them face to face?

I don't see what the hullabaloo is about. So guys get too much rejection online. How does this solve the problem? The girls are still going to get a million "likes" or whatever they call it and it's not going to be any different. The only thing is they won't have to read through a bunch of shitty messages. +1 for females, same shit for males unless I'm missing something?

What you're missing is the fact that with all of the shark tank hipster startup wannabe bullshit that now anyone can start a super popular app and sell it for 1 trillion dollars.

All you need is a sweatervest, crocs, coding knowledge, and some cutoff shorts and you're well on your way to becoming a billionaire nowadays.

I think online dating sites/apps should show the guys that the women are in contact with.
this way ugly losers will be able to compare themselves against that guys, and in turn find matches that are on their level

it's like that IRL!
