"the" in domain name

Hey guys,

My problem is this, I found a niche with but i can only get the keyword (xxxyyy) as;

thexxxxyyyy.com

is the word "the" just a waste of space? or can I just replace the 'the' with another related keyword like zzzzz (getting xxxyyyzzz.com) hoping to get more traffic through broad searches. Although I'd admit, it does look better with with the in it rather than another similar keyword.

Also the exact search is like 16k in global monthly searches in google keyword tool, but low CPC at 0.09 is it the content will be targeted at high CPC ads. Since this is my first SEO site I am not sure if its good enough or look for something with more searches.

Don't keyword stuff your domain just for the hell of it.

Also, make sure you're using an exact search when doing keyword research. And pay attention to the local monthly searches.
 
Look harder. The searches a month are good, but the CPC is just awful. The adsense earnings with that would be ~the equivalent of 1600 a month at 90 cents. Try and find a niche with $1.50 CPC and 1500-2000ish searches a month.
 
i try to get my main kws around $3 at least, because i find that actual ads shown vary wildly in cpc, so you always get a different average cpc, which in my experience is usually somewhat lower overall than your target.
