This movie has all the elements to land it into my favorites! If you have not seen it yet head to block buster and rent it.

Hey its got Nicholson in it, its good trust me!

Not a scarface, but a solid 4 1/2 stars!! Fuck it 5 Stars!

I love the ending! all in all it had great flowing storyline!

It was alright, I enjoyed it, not one of me favourites, but a good movie. Untouchables beats it for best gangster movie in my books

i think i am the only person in the world who didn't like the movie ... of course all the violence was getting kinda silly. the whole theater was laughing at a serious point near the end.

To each his own, if we all liked the same shit we would be living in a stale environment.

I was really expecting someone to live.... Some other ending. The ending was what made the movie good in my eyes, most movies are predictable, I thought I had this one figured out, but didnt, everyone got the shaft which was cool, Im sick of happy endings, seems like every flick has one.

definately crazy - maybe edit the title to reflect spoilers as it is kinda a surprise as you say :anon.sml:

no, same with me although for different reasons.

i WANT to like this film, so i will even watch it once more tonight because maybe i was in a bad mood the last time i watched it. but i guess, that also for me the actors chosen don't work. maybe i can't get the characters out of my head that they played lastly, but all in all they make their characters in "the departed" seem a bit shallow and "flat". where are my roy scheiders, gene hackmans and steve mcqueens (if any of you youngsters does know at all what i am talking about ;))? bring back the feeling of "the french connection", bring on some actors that really live up to the bad mofo image they stand for in the movie. jack icholson does a great job, bt he is pretty much left alone.

well, as said. i am gonna watch it again tonight and hopefully that willö be like a turn-around ;)

I thought that even Dicapprio (sp?) was damn good in this movie and I usually can't stand him.

The whole "feel" of the movie was reminiscent of "Ronin" to me. And if you haven't seen Ronin, then you really need to. Highly recommended.

Definitely went in my top 10 favorites after seeing it. They could have done a better job with the Boston accents though. I've lived here all my life and haven't heard any that thick.
