When publishing my blogging ebook I ran in to a big problem with the sales page. Its no secret that most publishers think scam when they see a sales letter. When I first interviewed Aaron Wall for my blog, people thought his book was a rip off because he had a sales letter!
I am running an experiment with my new blog book. I have created two sales pages, one that looks like a shitty sales letter, which I'm sending PPC traffic to, the other is more review oriented, I was looking at Amazon.com when I made it.
Over the next weeks and even months I am going to continue testing these. My hypothesis is that the sales letter will stink with blog traffic while the sales letter (which really needs more work) will convert best with PPC traffic. So far, it appears both are converting.
