This thing is fucking awesome. I don't know how it works, it just does. Cuts back on the time it takes to text, and is pretty fucking accurate. I'm impressed. Android peeps, check it out.

Haven't tried shapewriter, sorry. I honestly don't see how it could get much better/easier than this. This thing even picks up some slang.

This thing is awesome! I just downloaded it and tried it out...really accurate, and makes typing on the android much easier.

I like it better than shapewriter personally. Maybe it was because I used it first though. It seems a little more polished.

so i used swype for the day so far...and i'm going to say i like shapewriter better...seems to be more accurate, the onlything nice about this is when it doesn't know what word you want, it brings up a box for you to pick...but i've never had trouble with shapewriter figuring out which word i wanted...i think swype is more popular because it's been advertised on tv and such...i don't actually feel it's better yet....but..it's still beta.

i still prefer better keyboard over any keyboard i've used on android so far...although none of them are as nice as the iphones

shapewriter just got bought out by nuance and they took all the downloads down, so they're probably going to start charging for it. good thing i still have it on my phone.

or well, I still prefer a regular touch keyboard to the swiping style.

which androids are you guys using? HTC just put out the aria on att, its a gsm version of the hd mini and im hoping they start moving more of their phones over..

I have a HTC Evo, and the larger screen makes it quite a pain to swipe so far to get from one side to another...

install it last night..and my screen (nexus one) doesn't turn off when it is idle..shame cause i like swype
