99% of crimes like this are committed by males.

This kinda stuff makes some people really, really sexist against men. Some hardcore feminists understand this and appeal to these people's emotions accordingly.

It all depends on where you draw your tribal boundaries. I see your point, and agree...but, many times, there are important distinctions to be drawn from race alone.
