Looking at a set of Terms for a Website. I am still very new.
In the Top of some of the terms I see a lot of links to sites but no on page SEO
Is Off Page Greater Than On page Seo.

Some of the sites I see competing sites. These sites are not on all but is a mix of them I see on different terms

1. Official DrNatura Herbal & Dietary Supplements| #1 Colon Cleanse
2.WebMD - Better information. Better health.
3. Youtube
4. Mayo Clinic medical information and tools for healthy living - MayoClinic.com
5. Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I see few links to page but high links to Domain. I am thinking that these authority sites are hard to beat. They also have no or little on page Seo.

Finally would you settle for Position 4 or 5 on a term that has a total search of 200 a day based on Market Samurai.
I realize that you time is valuable but hope some people can give me some insight.

A good rule of thumb has to be back to basics ..

Which is my opinion is good strong on-page

Good Page Title
Well Structured H1 and H2
Well balanced home page copy with as much copy as your design will stand

hyperlink link title tags
footer links pointing internally

are your urls SEF

a strong commercial description (doesnt carry much seo weight so a good snippet with a good call to action)

once you have got all this right - then look at off page ...

As for traffic i would would have 1 visitor a day who purchased then 200 who didnt. Fight the battles you can win. But if a term isnt earning you money whats the point

my 5p worth or 7.5c depending where u are from
