Bought what? IM study materials? If you studied it and applied what you learned, you may be worth more and have better potential. Not really sure what you bought because you didn't really say what exactly.

.im domain names are hugely popular with providers of instant messaging software. So needless to say it wouldn't be worth anything unless you have a brand.

.im can also be used to rank a keyword done by the country Isle of man with only 70k+ population. .im will have a hard time to rank in the SE, for the .us and .com's provided competition..

So I'm vouching for $10-$15 for this. or the cost of the domain registration only. unless the site is fully developed with traffic and profit proofs.

I once owned 30+ im domains with some of the most popular keywords... Had a hard time selling them... Ended up almost breaking even...

No big views for future too though. I would consider selling it before you will need to pay for it annual fee. This one wont be worth much though
