Now you PPC guys don't have the liberty to suck-shit at converting because you pay for your visits and have to make the most of what comes through that funnel.

I've been doing organic for around 4 years now and my philosophy until a couple days ago is what guerilla refers to as "throwing shit at the wall and building MOAR". I just focused on traffic and hope someone bought/opted-in while they passed through.

Now with my pitiful 1%-if-I'm-lucky conversion rates I wonder how much $$$ I've let slip through the cracks over just last year and hundreds of thousands of visits?

I knew I sucked ass, I just didn't realize I sucked ass this bad.

Moral of the Story: Split Test Accelerator kicked me in the nuts and it hurt. Use this program if you can get ahold of it, it's fucking awesome. Google Optimizer if you don't have the duckets or a membership to TV.

Conversion Mastery... here I come.

+rep, I'm gonna give STA a try

throw some targeted ppc your way and see how well that converts. its not the same buyer's mentality but it could be used as a benchmark
